Just received our latest delivery from those very nice people at C&S (Neath) Steel Services.

Jeff, Dave and the team have always looked after us very well and today was no exception with just under six and a half tonnes of Galvanised, Electrozinc and Cold Reduced making the relatively short journey down from South Wales. 

It’s a great delight that the Cold Reduced is still manufactured in the UK and the origin of the coil that produced our blanks was Port Talbot. Sadly, the Galvanised and Electrozinc coils are imported since the steel industry reorganised itself around 10 years ago but it’s true to say if C&S could still get material from “just down the road” they would. 

Anyhow, we’re busy putting everything away ready for production and it’s great to see the wheels of UK Manufacturing rolling, rolling, rolling…..
