Shearing against the back gauge

We are excited to share with you our brand-new back gauge assembly that we have just installed on our Edwards Pearson Guillotine in the MSL workshop. 

Like happens to many of us, our old unit had become tired and worn and was refusing to continue to play the game. So, it was out with the old and in with a complete aftermarket upgrade supplied by Kee Engineering of Liskeard. The service we received was second to none with Chris personally delivering the unit to us last week for DASL's Jon to install and set up. 

We are pleased to say we are delighted with it and very impressed by the quality of the machining and the revitalisation it has brought to our shearing process.
