Punching goes from Beta to Delta

Punching goes from Beta to Delta

We have just updated our CNC Punch from the LVD Shape Beta that has served us so well over recent years to an LVD Shape Delta. This fantastic 2nd user machine was supplied to us by Bob Wheeler at Bridgewater Machinery Sales who let us thoroughly test at their facility in Somerset before they expertly transported it down the M5 and popped it into our unit.

It was a tight squeeze to manoeuvre it into location, but Joe, Jon and Dan did a fantastic job and we were up and running in no time at all. Massive thanks also go to Tim Brunsdon at LVD for his (as always) expert guidance and to the guys at Lantek Systems for helping us to transition the software. It’s usually a team game when you do something this big and you realise what a big, supportive, team of suppliers we are blessed with.

The Delta by the way provides us with more punch stations, larger sheet size and improved mechanicals. Oh, and if you are wondering, laser has a problem with up-forms and pronounced knockouts which so many of our customers love!
