Production Continues

It goes without saying, we all know it by now - these are difficult times with difficult decisions to be made.  It’s obviously no different for us than for any other UK manufacturer - should we remain open, should we close, can we exercise a proper duty of care over our staff, can we maintain social distancing directions and still function as a business, do we need to keep going? 

We have contacted our customer base and asked them if they are still working, and if so why.  The responses received detailed how many have them are producing products that are going into first line support that is keeping the country moving, keeping it caring for the sick, and keeping it safe.  For that reason, we have taken the difficult decision each day to carry on producing for as long as we possibly safely can.  We review it daily, in fact hourly.

We have changed our shift patterns to maintain social distancing.  We have adopted a strict regime of potential infection management.  We have a rigorous internal communication programme with a consistent rhythm to keep everyone focused on maintaining health.  Seven days is the new week (let’s face it, weekends are so yesterday) - we are getting used to that new pattern of working.

Product continues to flow.  It is a testimony to our supply chain that we can do this and thank you for your support through these difficult times.  We will continue to demonstrate our loyalty to you in every way we can in the future and thank you so much for assisting us, our customers, and the country right now.  Together, we deliver.
