ECFC Corporate Trust Sponsorship - U14's

As corporate trust members at Exeter City Football Club we are always keen to support the club as much as we can. We have been Corporate members for a few years now and are proud to be part of the trust & all the hard work it continues to do.

Corporate trust membership was opened up a few years ago as a way to involve local businesses with an interest in football, enabling more sponsorship for the club and hopefully some business opportunities for members.

Elaine Davis, Corporate trust director approached all members in January 2021 with an idea that corporate members purchase shares in sponsorship of the under 14’s team and as a collective we would have the corporate trust logo on the front of the u14 match shirts.

With the club being partially owned by the fans it seemed like a great opportunity to be able to invest in young local players who could one day be future first team stars. It’s also an opportunity to help the club that little bit more in what has been a tough year financially with no fans coming through the turnstiles due to matches being held behind closed doors.

18 businesses in total including both MSL & DASL agreed to Elaine’s idea and with the help of ECFC’s Matt Kimberley (Commercial account manager) & Scott Palfrey (Marketing Manager) a new corporate trust logo has been designed especially for the u14’s team shirts. Signs Express Exeter have also kindly donated a billboard to be displayed at the Cliff Hill training ground showing all the corporate members involved in sponsoring the U14’s team.

We are proud to sponsor the U14’s as part of the corporate trust and would just like to say thank you to Elaine Davis for arranging this opportunity and hope some of the U14’s today become the Ethan Ampadu, Matt Grimes or Ollie Watkins of the future.
