We were really excited when one of our regular customers asked us to produce a large quantity of bespoke fully glazed lockable door & frame sets for a new project they were engaged on.

This particular client is a specialist in the field of interpretive museum and exhibition design and takes projects from the seed of an idea through to a fully grown, fleshed out exhibition. We have now worked with them on a variety of projects and for this particular installation our involvement was to design single and double vision door & frame assemblies in sizes ranging from 750mm x 630mm up to 1700mm x 1500mm which would match a large number of individual presentation cabinets.

Designed in Solidworks and fabricated in 2mm & 3mm mild steel with bracketry and support for 8.8mm laminated glazing, Metalwork Solutions Ltd. took the project from the initial brief to product completion and CNC punched, folded, fully welded and fine dressed the steelwork before an in-house powder coat finish and delivering to site from our Exeter manufacturing facility fully glazed. Produced to tolerances to match the joinery provided by another supplier all that was required was for our client to final fit to the carcases during the site build.
