Adrian Sewell

Adrian Sewell

Adrian started his career as a wireman, thanks to a great guy called Terry Baker. He progressed over time to the position of UK Operations Director for a Global blue chip company. Responsible for a large, multi-location team he led a fair amount of manufacturing development, supply chain streamlining and system implementation. He set up DASL to work closely with MSL and to help customers looking for a combined metal fabrication and electronics assembly supplier, something reasonably unique in the UK. Outside of work, Adrian is a keen Exeter City fan, trust member and season ticket holder. He’s also quite into music, photography and dropping in at the Port Royal for a nice cold Thatchers.

Emilie Sewell

Emilie is Marketing and social media content manager. Her role is extremely varied but predominantly covers digital marketing, uploading all content for our social media platforms as well as keeping the website current and up to date.Outside of work Emilie is an avid Exeter City fan and season ticket holder. Emilie is also a talented artisan jewellery designer and makes unique items on commission. She loves Swimming, Ice skating and taking ballet classes to keep fit and is really in to live music going to as many gigs as she can.

Dan Rowlinson

The powerhouse of the shop floor, Dan is our Production Supervisor, responsible for making sure your order is produced to a high standard, efficiently and on time.  Dan has a background in metal finishing and has developed his skills to expertly include punching, folding and powder coating. He is fantastically enthusiastic and would probably live here if we let him! He has a wonderful motorcycle which is his pride & joy and loves nothing better than touring around Devon at the weekends.

Callum Heard

Callum Heard

Callum was our 2nd apprentice and has really developed his skills with us and at Exeter College. He is multi skilled and can drive all of our key metal fabrication processes. Outside of work Callum enjoys spending time with his three young sons as well as socialising with his friends. He is also an avid gamer and has been known to book holiday to coincide with a new game release to maximise gaming time!

Gary Ludick

Gary Ludick

Gary works with us on a contract basis. A background of running an electronics servicing company in Zimbabwe gives Gary an all round skill set that he deploys right across the business. Outside work Gary spends time with the family and loves nothing better than a trip away camping or up onto Dartmoor with the toboggan (making up for lost tobogganing time in Zimbabwe!).

Jon Camp

Jon Camp

Jon works with us on a contractor basis and has known Adrian since the 1980’s when they worked together at Blick Communications. Extensive experience in the switchgear industry has provided him with a strong knowledge of fabrication and electrical assembly. Jon loves buying & selling antiques,  he’s a keen collector of clocks and is mentioned in The Thristle Clockmakers of Somerset book by N & D Woodford.

Max Harris

Max Harris

Max joined us as our 3rd apprentice and is continuing his training and development through Exeter College. Max has a background in both engineering and electronics and is therefore a good fit in our organisation. Amongst other things Max has a huge interest in history and has been educating us on those deep and distant events that excite him. Max found our vacancy on the National Apprentice website https://www.findapprenticeship.service.gov.uk/apprenticeshipsearch

Amy Sherwood

Amy Sherwood

Amy joined us about a year ago after she fancied a career change. She was always interested in engineering and has managed to get as far as possible away from her previous office based role, now a very competent welder of steel, aluminium and stainless steel. Outside of work Amy is a keen surfer and also enjoys taking ballet classes

Amy Herbert

Amy Herbert

Amy joins us fresh from completing her GCSE's at West Exe Technology college as our new apprentice production operative within DASL.

She will be starting her apprenticeship this September at Exeter College after first approaching us in 2017 about doing some work experience. She has since come in every school holiday over the past year to do some work and learn as much as she can about electronics assembly and has found she has a real passion for the subject.

Outside of work Amy loves watching Netflix with her current favourite shows being Riverdale and Pretty Little Liars as well as walking her dog.
